No Phone Lines - The Cell Phone Life

Many young people are choosing to save money and even be accessible to those who want to reach them by calling them. Obviously, I am speaking of the families and individuals who get their first home or apartment and find no need to pay the local (or otherwise) phone company to install or activate phone jacks and pay for a service that in most situations they really don't need. But, you say, what if they want to have their residence protect by a home security system that is monitored by a licensed central station. Is it possible? Of course bunky! All of the major manufactures of security systems provide modules that connect with the control panel of the system that enables alarm signals to be sent via a cellular frequency. Of course the monthly payment for central station monitoring is more, but, the overall savings could be tremendous. IAM ( http://www.interstatealarmmonitoring.com/ ) just introduced a GE, General Electric, Simon XT system that includes the cellular module, 2 wireless window and door contacts, a wireless infrared motion detector, a wireless key fob activation and de-arming device with keypad and control panel combination for $450. The monthly monitoring fees are $18.77.
