Neighborhood Watch

Being part of an organized program to help protect your home and neighborhood is a good idea for everybody to be involved with. And to have the ability to be organized in case of emergencies is an even better idea. Watching out for strangers in the area, being aware of potentially harmful door to door sales people, knowing who has special medical needs on the block, what homes have the occupants working during the day and so on is really helpful. The block captain is person who is usually given the task to gather and keep information. A good website to check out is:  http://www.usaonwatch.org/
